Pizhichil

Pizhichil, which literally means�squeezing, is a unique contribution of the�Kerala tradition of Ayurveda. In this treatment lukewarm medicated oil (Dhanwantharam oil) is poured over the person's body in a rhythmic manner. The oil is squeezed on to the body with their right hand and the body is simultaneously massage with their left hand in down ward strokes. The entire area of the body is covered in this treatment.
Pizhichil�rejuvenates and hence is also used as a preventive therapy. This is used as a treatment for Spondylitis, Arthritis, Hemiplegia, Nervous disorder, Sexual weakness, Rejuvenation of skin, nerves and muscles.
